Eastern Produce Kenya (EPK) is one of the largest private tea producers in Kenya, owning five factories, seven estates, and managing additional client estates. It collaborates with about 14,000 smallholder partner growers, to collectively produce around 30 million kilograms of tea annually. EPK is based in Nandi Hills, west of the Great Rift Valley, and it benefits from an equatorial climate, fertile soils, and consistent rainfall, enabling year‑round tea production with excellent flavor and quality.

Eastern Produce Malawi (EPM) is a leading producer of high-quality tea and macadamia nuts in Southern Malawi EPM manages nine tea factories and extensive estates in Thyolo and Mulanje Districts, processing both estate-grown and smallholder-sourced tea. It is the largest tea production entity in Malawi with annual volumes of over 20 million Kgs.
EPM combines estate cultivation and factory processing with an extensive smallholder partnership program, working with more than 3,500 farmers. These collaborations not only deliver premium produce but also contribute to meaningful community investment in education, clean water, women’s empowerment, and rural development.
The company is also a leading processor of macadamia nuts under the “Maclands” brand, applying sustainable farming techniques and stringent quality controls.

Kakuzi PLC is one of Kenya’s leading agribusiness companies, publicly listed on both the Nairobi and London Stock Exchanges, with approximately 1400 shareholders. Headquartered at Makuyu in Murang’a County, Kakuzi cultivates, processes and markets a broad portfolio of agricultural products—including avocado, macadamia, blueberries, tea, livestock, and commercial forestry.

EP Tanzania is a green field development for avocado production. Located in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania, this high-altitude location is ideally suited for a wide range of agricultural production.
The development is currently underway with approximately 450 Ha of orchards planted. A one million cubic meter water reservoir is also under construction. This will capture the rainfall during the wet season, making the farm self-sufficient for its irrigation needs.
Eastern Produce Estates South Africa (Pty) Ltd – (EPESA) is a leading agricultural producer based in the fertile Limpopo region. EPESA operates one of South Africa’s largest macadamia estates and is now expanding into premium avocado production. The farms benefit from well-supplied, rain-fed dams for irrigation and are supported by a modern, high-capacity macadamia processing facility to ensure consistent quality for global export markets.

Based out of Nairobi with excellent communication linkages to our worldwide customer base and service providers, our Sales and Logistics teams work seamlessly to maintain high standards of efficiency and reliability.
The sales team acts as the primary liaison between our client companies and their buyers, nurturing trusted relationships through proactive communication on product availability, contract obligations, pricing, terms, and quality. The team monitors market trends and global prices to provide competitive pricing strategies and ensure that products are well positioned internationally.
Our logistics team manages the full export process for multiple commodities across our operations in Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, and South Africa. This includes shipment planning, booking schedules, documentation, containerization, vessel tracking, and monitoring of temperature-controlled units for perishable products.
We oversee customs and partner government agency procedures, warehousing tenders and stock management, as well as forwarder contracts and shipping line negotiations. Additionally, we handle the dispatch of product samples to meet buyer requirements, ensuring reliability and transparency throughout the supply chain.
